Why Wax?

I get asked this question all the time. There are several reasons why keeping a good coat of wax is crucial for any vehicle.

1. UV protection.
A good wax will provide a solid UV barrier for your paint. An unwaxed surface is hotter than a waxed surface. We all know what heat can do.

2. Protective Barrier.
Most of you have your CRX's as daily drivers. Why not enjoy the cars. That exposes your paint to salts, tar, acid rain, bird droppings, sap and other contaminants. These contaminants chew at your finish and dull it over time. If your paint has a nice healthy coat of a quality wax you will experience a drastic reduction in paint damage. The containments do not have the ability to "stick" to the paint and will either ruin off or can easily be rinsed off.

3. Beauty.
I don't care what anybody says, we all love a clean, shiny car. (Ask CRXFisher) A real quality wax can provide a shine that can make you squint. And we all know that the cleaner your car is the faster it drives.
