Window regulator roller/slider guide grommet thingie

Hello CRX Community. My 89 crx si driver side window will not stay on track. I have taken the regulator out to make sure nothing is bent. It appears the cross section plugs into the roller below. However I wonder if the previous owner jerry-rigged this and that is why the arm keeps popping out of the track. Does anyone know of a proper fi? Thanks in advance.
