Ok So the windshield wiper works great. The motor is good. But only one windshield wiper works. The one connected to the motor. I have the new part that connects the wipers to each other. I have no clue where to install it.

First let me say welcome to the wonderful world of DIY sir.
I can help you muddy.
First make sure the car is off(lol ok I kid I kid)I know you know that.

1.Remove the 12mm acorn nuts that hold the wiper arms to the posts.
2.If you tilt the wiper arms up and give a little rock back and forth the arms usually loosen and can be removed.
3.Using a pick or small screwdriver remove the 7 little plastic covers from the
cowl panel. Also dont forget to remove the (7) phillips screws as well.
4.Using a panel popper or bigger screwdriver pop up the engine bay seal and plastic trees.
5.Now lift off the cowl panel
6.There should be a few plastic cover panels that you have to remove to access the 10 mm bolts.
7.You should see a series of three bolts that hold the wiper trans to the body of the car.(There are two sets of three bolts that I'm talking about)
8.Now after removing the cover thats closest to the passenger side fender.Use a screwdriver and pop the wiper trans arm off of the motor.
9.(You dont really have to do this one,but it helps with removal)Using a 10mm socket remove the (4) bolts that hold the wiper motor to the body and wiggle the motor away from the cowl.
10.After you remove the (6) 10mm bolts you have to wiggle the wiper trans asy out of the hole.
11.Replace the wiper trans arm.
12.Remount all parts in reverse order.

Just a helpful hint....Before you replace the cowl and all the screws, test and make sure the wiper trans is operating properly.
GL sir hope I helped.

Ok I finally have time to replace it now.

I got to number 8 before getting confused. I don't need to replace the one between the motor and the middle wiper. Just the one from the middle wiper to the right (driver side) wiper.

I can't seem to get the wiper arm connector out. There is a plastic thing that I don't think I can remove that is in the way on the drivers side, and it is screwed down in some way.

Ok I'll try and clear that one up for ya.I wanted you to disconnect the wiper motor because its easier to facilitate the wiper trans removal with the motor out of the way.
I know which one you are talking about. The arm that connects the wiper pivot to pivot not the arm that attaches the motor to the one pivot.Like I said if you pop the motor arm away from the rest you have the room to wiggle the wiper trans asy out.(at least thats how I did it)

As for the cover on the drivers side I had to go back out to the garage and look. All I can say about that cover is you could pop that cover off and theres another air vent thats under that one.You could feasibly try and take the wiper trans out that way,but I didnt do it like that. The first cover is held down by lock clips(it just pops off),but be careful not to break the clips as they are just plastic.

Does that help clear up any questions?
