Well, winter is upon us. What does everyone do as far as maintenence for the winter? I am thinking: 1) Radiator/Coolant flush/fill, 2)Maybe tune-up. What is recommended for the winter? Maybe change to a different weight oil? Let me know what you think...

I put a sweatshirt, a towel, and an ice scraper in my car. I also switch off my nice rims for my stockers. That's really about it. However, I do need to change my oil sometime soon. Hmmm...

If you do your own work, do as much of the routine maintenance as you can while the weather is still so-so... I know that I tend to procrastinate with it when the weather goes bad.
Go outside in my shorts and t-shirt, check to make sure my summer tires aren't bald, then smile because I live in the South! ;) Sorry, just had to say it.
I know there is a brand of oil that makes a winter synthetic blend, but I can't remember which brand it is. Anyone that knows what I'm talking about try this stuff out?

Probably Quaker State...seems as though they make an oil for everything.

oil's oil no matter the season, use what you normally would.
you should always maintain your fluids, all year round.
Really, just make sure you have good tires to ensure you dont turn the CR into a bobsled and on warmer days, wash and wax your car. Keeps your rust factor down. If you live in an area that salts the roads, if your car gets salt covered wash it off ASAP, thats a big rust increaser right there
i pray the car starts. thats my winter mainenance.
As stated above... Keep it washed..... . dont be so concerned about getting the paint spotless as it is just going to get filthy again..... spend more time under the wheel wells and underside washing the salt out of the cracks where it can lay and cause even more rust....
