Well I just got back from the car wash. . . looking out my office window at my filthy Passat all day long i just had to wash it i dont care if the doors do freeze shut ( again ) Just got me thinking. . How many of you run your crx in the winter... and by winter I mean in the snow, salt, ash and sand. . . . .winter time in Texas and florida does not count. . . Mine is parked. . . I would run it if i had to.. but i dont need it since I have other cars. . . heck my passat is nicer than my crx. . . . Guess im just trying to keep the body from rusting more. . .

My CRX NEVER sees snow!
Garaged and stored from mid-late NOV to early may.
I guess I'm blessed in the fact that I have 3 other honda's to choose from.
I drive a 92 hatch DD in the winter.

I'm stuck driving my CRX in the winter (in North Dakota and Minnesota), it's my only vehicle right now. It's been a pain already and we've barely had snow/ice. I even have snow tires on it, but it seems to be a little overpowered for the conditions, and all I have in it is a stock B18A. Definately going to find a winter car before next year.

Yep mine has never seen snow. I bought from a guy in Tx. And it stays in the garage year around.
I have an RSX for the snow.

I sold my accord (needed $) so I'm wintertymin' the crx. I know it's gonna suck, but I have no choice. I fixed the rust so hopefully just keep it relatively clean and it should be okay...until I slide into something...

HA! Gotta have a beater I guess...

My CRX sees lots of NY/New England winter, and gets washed a lot. I wouldn't be able to drive something else all winter, I'd miss my CRX!

Id love to have a beater but the money and time doesn't call for it. So my beater is the crx until it dies which I hope is never. One day ill restore my current one. Then thats the time ill put it away for winter.

MY CRX sees dead snowflakes. It especially likes to attack them as they make their way down from the mother cloud. My CRX hates it though when they get a jump on the snowplows and gather on the roadways, trying to make you drift around the corners. But being from Canada eh, I'm used to driving in this season they call winter down here in the Poconos.

Since my CRX is my commuter car, it sees almost 200 miles daily, rain or shine, dry or wet, snow or no snow. No rest for the wicked. But, that may change as I'm thinking of getting me a EF sedan/hatch so I can fit more of my 4 sons in my car. Just gotta find me one cheap.

the crx is my only car and the PA winters like to bite at her ankles all season. This season has not been that bad yet, but as posted earlier.. that one snowfall led to an extreme amount of salt for only a few inches. My car looks like an oreo right now, black paint+white salt. Eh she is holding up and all the rust will be attended to soon, but for now ill enjoy the colder air which her heart seems to pump faster to :)b

I drive my hatch (only car at the moment) thru every single weather Canada can throw at it (current -20C with about 8-10 inches of snow everywhere, about 1/32 of salt all over the car) but I've found if you wash your car weekly during the winter the salt doesn't stick very well and you won't rust out so much. Currently my car needs a bath, probably tonight if it's over -15C.
