wisconsin honda-tech meet

sweetj and i decided to go to a honda-tech meet because we had nothing better to do. well on the cruise people where being dumb cutting of cars left and right passing in the the shoulders of the road and just driving dumb except for us and a red eg. us two cars where at the back of the group, they head directions and we didn't so we followed them. well out of nowhere these cops came and pulled us over and two other cars that we know of. the first thing he tod us was that our fun and games where over. we told he that us and another red hatch weren't driving crazy at all and it was the others that were. then he started asking if we had a cat. to see if we were leagal and sweetj told him that the car was completely stock except for the exhaust. well then he told use that we were making airwaves and all over the radio and people where calling us in, well not us the other hondas/ acuras. he made us sit there for over 30 minutes and got mad at us because he had nothing on us.

so after all is said and done we're aren't going on anymore honda-tech cruise with a bunch of dumb kids.
you can see sweetj and his crx in the backgorund. i can have more pics if you guys want them. oh and by the way, we were the only crx on the cruise and at the meet!!!!!

that sucks that you got in trouble when you were the ones driving "Nice", what a bunch of goofs... spoiling the fun for you guys, and getting stopped by the cops!

yeah we tried not laughing when he asked if we had a cat and started looking under the car to see if we were legal cause the crx needs alot of work plus it was a stock engine everybody else had boostes b16's.

yeah it was a the first time either of us had gone to meet and wanted to see what they were like.

They couldnt find the bad apples so they had to make themselves feel better and pull over the next imports they saw. Obviously they had no license plate numbers or anything. Should of asked them why you were being pulled over and why they were detaining you if there is no answer they cant just keep you for sh!ts and giggles.

yeah the cop had smoke coming outta his ears so weren't going to push his buttons plus sweetj got pulled over in his rusted out hatch for speeding and not seeing the speed limit drop from 45 down to 35 and got $160.00 ticket. so we just were as nice as possible and told him the truth so he just told us to go. other guys video taped themselves passing people on the shoulder of the road and cutting off people but somehow they didnt end up getting a ticket. and they had two cops on them we only had one.

Same theory when ricers pull up to me at the stoplight.
They pull up in their tricked out, riced out whutchamacallit, see that I drive a Honda (so i MUST want to race), rev at me, I laugh and they tear ass to the next light.

i do the same thing. yeah we were just guilty for driving with them. next time im grabbing directions to get there and driving with my crx and sweetj's crx that way no trouble.

A couple years ago, while going to one of these hondatech meets. I got pulled over with 10 other cars. Just because some dumbass in a civic decided to be "cool" by shooting 10 foot flames from his exhaust on I94. Last time I ever went with people i don't know. Luckily i got no ticket.

My club had a meet on Saturday. We got stopped by Minnesota State Patrol for 81 in a 70. He was really nice. Gave all four of us a warning.

As far as your story with the Honda Tech crew, you should know better than to think that there is anyone with half a level of respect coming from the HT camp! LOL I can't say much cause I go there too, but I only go there for good deals on Honda stuff.

Tough break! You should check out some more laid back type meets. The Wisconsin Dells Automotion car show is May 19th and 20th. My guys and I will be there. Two RHD Honda's, a kickass EG hatch, a kickass EK hatch tuned by Realtime, and a bunch more!

yeah i plan on going with my 2 buddys up there with their crx's so there will be at least 3 black crxs. h-t crew invited us to cruise up there with them but we are going up by ourselves. i think we are going up the 20th. what day will you be there?
