My 89 DX DS is chewed up. I'd consider both seats depending on condition/location.
What was your supplier? link?I looked for material for my 88 HF for 6 months. Finally found a excellent match from a supplier, not OEM, but same color, texture, and pattern.
Went that route after only finding thin, faded and bridle OEM material.
Kept the OEM insert, since that was not torn or matchable.
One option you may want to look at in your source.
I went to a local auto upholstery shop to look at samples. Found one very close to OEM blue color, pattern, texture. Color was Neptune Ocean Blue. (I'm pretty sure on this, it was about a year ago)What was your supplier? link?
Those HF seats came out looking really great!I went to a local auto upholstery shop to look at samples. Found one very close to OEM blue color, pattern, texture.
Yes they did. I had a local guy do these who has been in the business for about 30 years. Old guy like me. He wasn't sure if I would like them because he could not get them as smooth as he would have like too. I told him having a wrinkle here and there made them look OEM and was pleased with the results. Charged me $500 which I felt was a fair price. Those HF seats came out looking really great!
That's not bad at all, figuring materials and the actual time to do this.Charged me $500 which I felt was a fair price.
