I'm starting to accept the fact that my pinion thing in the diff may be going, based on the clunking I've been hearing lately. I'm waiting on my ES inserts to get here (front mount is completely dead now!), and if they don't cure the problem, I'm going to need a new tranny soon. I won't be driving much after this week, I'll be at my job in New Haven, so I'll be doing it in August, along with a lot of other things.
Where is the best place to get a ZC tranny, and just how rare are the factory LSDs? I'd like to get the best I can, ZC 1-4, steal the 5th out of stef's HF tranny, and use my Si final with a limited slip. What is this going to cost me? Will my clutch swap over, as long as it's another 89-91?
