C an I use a power stering rack from a civic on my 88 crx si I just got a zc I thought I would look into using the power stering pump on it. Good or bad idea?

Like jeff said it can be done.Unless you personally like the soft steering that P/S provides I'd say stay manual.
IMO P/S takes away from the sportyness "feel" that the crx gives us.

The 4th gen civic and crx power steering is terrible. It's hardly speed related, wich makes the car twitchy at high speeds, and soggy and distant at best at low speeds.

I've tried it on a couple of hatchies and crxes, and it's awful.
The 5th gen P/S is a little better, but still not great.

i kinda like the no ps in the crx cause its so light its not a problem..

i think it helps the car stay stable too
