I know this may sound dumb to you guys but im new to crxs. what is a dohc zc swap and what does it improvr?

It's an engine swap, ZC is the code on the engine block, DOHC meaning dual overhead cams (versus single cam on the stock engine). It makes 129 hp, compared to the 108 in a stock Si.

The ZC is prob the most cost effective and easiest swap for 88-91 Crx's.

There are 3 different variations:
SOHC Zc
DOHC Zc
SOHC Zc Vtec (hardest to find)
