Going on vacation tomorrow, so will get them installed, the timing fixed, and the car all wrapped up when I come back from the OBX in a week. Should be ready just in time for N26! :tongueblue:

Looks good! :-)b

Nice timing if you can make it.

Cleaned air filter and throttle body.
Used brake cleaner and a rag for the throttle body.
had to adjust idle a bit after the cleaning as there was much oily gunk removed on the top area of the plate !

Replaced the RTA's with Hardrace hardened rubber, and also the compensator arms with PCI spherical bearing arms. Both upgrades should have been done years ago. Now I just have to finish my alignment since everything fought coming out....

Nothing too big.

Checked fluids and checked tire pressure. Cleaned him up and took him for a stroll.

Its raining in AZ now so he watches from the garage.

Buying stuff to get the car back up and running. Found oem wiring and battery tray to put a normal sized battery back to the stock position. Tired of draining batteries in the rear of the car, and want to just eliminate any possibility of issues. Anyone know what bolts the battery tray uses? Looks like the normal 10mm bolts, but not sure.

Will be fun to crawl over the hatch, through the Autometer 4pt rollbar, and finally get to unlock the door. Also thinking about putting normal door handles back on, instead of the rear sedan handles, for this very reason.

Then I can drive it for a week, and put it back in the garage for winter safekeeping. :sleepy:

Sadly enough, Tommy was the last one to post in this thread.

Replaced the rear bumper support, been due for years and also the horn up front. Also cleaned up the spare tire well and started addressing some of the surface rust spots with fresh paint. Will soon be removing the rear interior as it's terribly faded and beat.

Installed Redshift Competition Coilovers and a DC Sports solid rear strut bar. Removed rear interior and washed the 29 years worth of dirt and grime from under it.

I power washed the moss off the hood. She looks so sad. So much for working on her this summer, but now that the home improvement is done, I hope to at least crank the engine before the end of this month.

Installed a 92-00 civic dual-core radiator, slim fan and appropriate fan shroud from Go-Autoworks. Gotta keep those temps down on the track! Also got a random thumbs up from a guy in a bone stock EG sedan. 8)

Sunroof switch died. First stage was intermittently working. Then it moved into flat out dead. Im not working and you no longer get a sunroof. Thank you and good night.

So I was lucky enough to find another unit out of Germany. Switch was in better condition than the current switch and works flawlessly. Sunroof is functioning perfectly. It is nice to have back for sure.

Timing belt and front main seal need to be done in the near future.

After that, will need to start looking for all of the necessary pieces of the next odyssey.

Installed Yonaka Motorsports exhaust, wasn't my first choice but there is nothing else available. Literally waited 6 months for a Tanabe Medallion that was on back-order.

Also finished installing an ASR 24mm rear sway bar and subframe brace and exhaust fits perfect around it. Also, Yonaka also fixed that damn muffler slant posted in all the CRX preview pics. That would have drove me nuts.

Took him out for a stroll while shopping this weekend. Neat to see the attention he still gets.

Patted its fender after walking past it in the drive way.

Also, the battery did this.
No more trickle chargers for me...and this wasn't a cheap one.

Installed a Skunk2 70mm throttle body, kinda a pain getting the thing to idle properly afterwards.
Installed a new RaceEqiup 5-point harness, Corbeau harness was out of certification.
Replaced the old front UCA bushings for HardRace hardened rubber variants.

Getting ready for this year's HPDE events!

I’ve just about collected everything I need for a suspension rebuild/rear disc brake conversion. I finally tracked down a complete ‘90 CRX Si rear trailing arm set (with the next to impossible to find E brake cables). So far I’ve gotten Hardrace RTA bushings, Skunk2 front and rear control arms with hard rubber bushings, a ‘90 Civic EX master cylinder, Goodridge SS brakes lines for discs, Hardrace radius rod bushings, and a few misc. bushings/pieces. I’m still debating whether I want to rebuild the rear brake calipers or just buy new. I’m also eyeing Fastbrakes big brake kit for the front with the Wilwood 4 piston calipers......

Ti,
I just got my last few pieces to do the same thing. Using EX Master Cylinder, EX Hub for EX's bigger brakes, and EX axles to upgrade from the puny HF axles. I hope to have it all done this summer. I need my baby back on the road.
