Ran a 15.04 @94mph. Spun the tires horribly off the line. 3rd run of the night, tires set at 30psi. Approximately 85 degrees out with about 50% humidity. Raceway is 2000 feet above sea level.

pretty sure you didnt spin as much as you think you did, especially with slicks.

well it wassnt a well prepped track, in the mid afternoon in may, very hott day. the guys i was with said they could see it spinnin and it never felt like it hooked till about half way through 3rd...havent been back yet still workin on the suspension and motor some more...

seems like the ls tranny is killing you. you don't have lsd either i bet?

Ive never seen a mini me in person that produces more power than a d16z6. 100 bucks says you run between 15.5 and 16.0

so with my old setup on the B18c1/ys1 trans i was able to pick up 4 tenths. last run I did was 14.9 @ 89 mph on stock ecu and a clutch that I found now to be going bad.

rex4life get some seat time and some slicks. Also play around with your launch control if you have it i noticed a big gain when i did all this. I was running a stock d16 and was dynoed at 220 myself 13.5 on slicks launching at 5500

I was hoping to break 13 but it turns out I have some bad compression, grinds on my cams and need to rebuild the motor. glad I got a low mileage gsr head for cheap. thanks for the ideas. Been neglecting the car as I got a new sti in the garage and begs to have parts added. I miss her really bad and need to get into the trans and find why it isn't shifting lol...well shifts just and full extension and grinds slightly unless your driving. god help me if i'm stopped and forgot to put it into first lol.

a lil bit of an update...b20, stage 3 crower cams, 125 shot of nitrous, lsd 5 speed, k-tuned traction bar, slicks, ran a 8.81 in the 1/8th mile...2.0 60ft times...thinkin i need to do some more suspension tweeks and a better set of slicks...these are gettin old...

15.7 at 90 mph. Had bad launch coulda been better. Car is 88si with 94 ls swap and minimal interior.

Stock d16a6 on 7psi with HF trans with si final drive. On street tires.
Full interior with my GF riding along, hoping for 13 sec pass next year with si trans, slicks, and lsd.

just went this past weekend...trans was screwin up on me but got some seat time in...got it dialed in to a couple of consective back to back pass at 8.60s...sec and third gears synchros are goin out...guessin im goin to try my hands at building a 5 speed...
