I am wondering where to mount my aim MXL dash in my Crx does anybody have pictures of where they mounted theirs?

Nobody should spend that type of coin on something that costs about the same (or more) as most people spent on the entire car.

LOL really? nobody has installed one? its much easier than installing each gauge one by one. a motor swap has more value than the car itself so i guess nobody should do motor swaps then???

You're comparing apples to oranges.
With motor swaps, the cost to benefit is usually greater, generally meaning more hp.
With gauges, $2k for gauges is some major coin, especially when, for the most part, the stock ones work fine for most of the folks interested in these cars.

Based on the amount of replies and from what you can see on this forum, most folks don't mess with the gauges, unless it's an OEM+ upgrade.

I have a dash full of gauges in my ITA car. I don't think I have spent more than $500 on all the Autometer gauges. To me, swap or not, the AIM is overkill.

But to get to your question, make a bracket on the steering column that will hold the display on top of the column so you can see it through the wheel. Or make a blank out of the OE gauge cluster and mounted it there.

Consider a TunerView RD1 for a lot less money.

I already own the aim. Thank you for the reply raffaelli. It's pretty annoying when you ask a question and people don't answer the question. They just want to argue and give their opinion. It was 1100 for the aim dash. I would much rather have 1 gauge that tells me everything than 3-5 gauges all the vacuum lines and wiring to install and the clutter that comes along with that.

Was that 1100 including the sensors? If so, that's a good deal.

If I were to put the AIM in my car, I would install sensors for:

Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
Water Temp
AF Ratio
Throttle Position
Brake Pressure
Wheel Speed
Intake Air Temp
GPS timing

Probably in that order of spending money.
