why do the parking spaces have the square concrete thingers and not like a straight piece of concrete like in the U.S.? and you pull over them and put your wheels in there?

In Japan, the norm is to back your car into the parking spot. As such, to prevent damage to your car, they tend to put curb stops where they are needed only (the wheels). There are some places, like temp parking spots that require you to back your wheels into the curb stop to secure your vehicle. The non paid parking places sometimes offer this "feature" as a courtesy in case of an earthquake (which happen multiple times a day).

Nice find. I wish my deal would have worked out to move to Japan. I would have been based in NAF Atsugi, not that far from the ship yard in Yokosuka. When you get a chance make a trip up to Hakone on a Saturday. They usually have a meet at the lake up top and there is much Nissan representation. Also rest stop in Odaiba and Daikoufuto and nice. You have to get to Daikokufuto before 2100 though because the police pretty much close out entry to that place. Man I loved Japan, just wish it would have been permanent. Also, Mickey is a fellow Community member in Yokosuka right now. I think he is ship's company on the Washington though.

Those tail lights look so much better than the stock. They make the entire car look like it is from the 21st Century instead of just the front. I also like how the rear now has sharp lines to match the front. So what are you going to so when your time is up? Are you going to bring it back and store it or are you going to sell it to another sailor? It would be sad to see it go.

^ swap them panels over then. If you can trust any locals or a sailor, I would strip it and send it back in separate containers. I am trying to work out a deal to get a Stagea stateside right now. I want to have it on hand for when they are legal here.

I dont't know what it is about those style tail lightss but theyreally make the older cars look more modern. It seems like that is a common upgrade on the sylvias out there. Nice work.

That energy kit is the bees knees. Your going to love it. I wish i had space to get another car. with all the bad fortune that keeps happening to my poor hf, i really just want to abandon all hope and get a jdm import. I cannot wait to get a house or storage garage.

I have not seen ollie out here yet but I did see a RHD Trueno out here. There is a guy here who has a 96 Chaser <- very JDM and very much illegal I suspect.
