What's the year and engine designation? Most sohc engines are pretty close when it comes to this...

But, the vital question is: is that timing mark on the crank the same??

 

d16a9 is dohc. But the engine you pictured should have the timing set the same way...

Things don't match up...
You show a 96-00 body style, but say it's a '92, you show a SOHC engine, but then say your engine is a d16a9, which is a DOHC.
Find out what your engine is really, then look it up from there.
Your engine code & motor's serial number is engraved on the exhaust side of the motor, to the left of the exhaust manifold, up near where the block meets the head.
