20x8x14 MT's on 14x7 or 22x8x13 M&H on 13x7.5

D Series up to 200 whp I use the 20x8x14's for the gearing advantage. 4.25 FD now feels like 4.8 FD.

I'll start pricing them out today. As far as the rim, I might use a set of 14'' steelies I have laying in my shed, would the width of the rim (5'' I think) affect the performance or durability of the tire, giving that the tire is at least 8'' ? :blah:

 

You want a wider wheel to give you the best contact patch. For what it's worth, I'm planning on 24x9 slicks on 15x8 wheels. 24" because that's the direction I want to move my gearing, and 15" because I can't go smaller (due to my brakes).

 

Can you squeeze stock 91 Si brakes behind 13s? iirc, 14 is the smallest, right?

Im not sure if they fit or not, I've read a lot already about people trying to fit 13's with issues, i just wanna be in the safe side...

Jegs has a decent discount on their tires and rims. im gonna give them a call to see whats up....

My brother and I rum them.
He's running 13" on his tegi.... so they do fit on some tegis i guess

13's? would they clear the DA calipers?.. Ill have to test fit them.

 

I am pretty Sure DA calipers need 14+...

 

We just went over this, in this thread. It depends on the wheel. Some 13" wheels will clear Integra brakes, most will not.

 

Just got an awesome deal on a pair of M&H (22x8x13) with "only" 6 passes on them (I quoted only because that was what the prev owner said), but 80 bucks for both cant be beat.
Now I just gotta get me some rims, thinking about this ones... might not be name brand but they will hold and do the job

Ohh don't worry Bone, I got them already. I have a nice set of Honda center caps from my old 07 coupe si rims. They should fit just fine.
