The US HF (don't know about other regions) never got Celestial Blue Pearl. Torino Red Pearl was also a DX-only color.

I like what your doing with this thread. Its good to see all the factory colors. Have you thought about getting pics of the colors like the thread on H-tech. I think that would be cool to do, not necessarly all of them, but just the rex colors.

Sorry, I could have been more direct. It's a '90-91 DX-only color, not '90-91 DX/HF.

 

Yeah, I think pics of the rex colors would make it pretty awsome, and it would be a good sticky. Yeah, b53p is a 90-91 dx color. Some say that it is only a 1990 color, but my rex is a 1991 b53p dx.

I thought CBP B-53-P was a Canadian Crx Color.

 

I can prove to you without a doubt that both the honda tech and your list are wrong about the Tahitian Green - I have a 1991 DX with it. And the factory color code is in the door, incase you were wondering.

Lets see those pics, not that I am doubting you, I just havent seen a dx that color, I have only seen the b53p dxs.

I think you're right and it got titled wrong Looking over other pictures, I had thought it was Tahitian for the 2 some years I've owned it. Ah well

 

thats one of those tricky colors to ID... my truck is Cayman Metallic... looks green sometimes, blue others... I forget what my registration calls it.

 

Yeah that is cbp, but regardless, your rex looks clean as hell, I wish mine looked that good.

Ahem...check your paint tag inside the driver's side door. There is more than one type of Vogue Silver Metallic. The Canadian 1991 CRX Si Special Editions are NH-550M.

NH-583M is a very different colour and is used on newer Civics.

It's a huge difference when you get 1 of each side by side in the same lighting conditions. I've seen CBP and TG beside each other before. CBP is obviously blue, and TG is obviously green.

Yes that's true, it's easy to tell in person. But this shows how they're so easily confused in pictures.
