Windraver,

There is a pretty clean white first gen DX in a junk yard near Fresno. I say it on Sat. while I was there, do you want me to pull the nose piece for you? I can find out how much it costs plus the shipping cost to get it to you if you like. I want to see you finish your car. I kind of want a first gen HF now.

Windraver,

Glad to see you back. I am almost done with College and can't wait. I was inspired by your android integration and decided to pick up a Raspberry Pi and go the Gnu/Linux route instead (I am a FOSS guy.) I am planning on using the ODB2 capability of my ODB to Bluetooth port to also monitor what the car is doing in real time. I am also working on a link with my phone. I already have the infotainment system working, but I need a good touch screen interface that fits in a double din receptacle. Once I do this, I can finally fix my climate control by taking out the Prelude CC and linking it to my integrated setup.

I can't wait to see your pictures.

My wife was exempt on the intake when she was trying to smog and register her CRX so you may be exempt. She has a Short Ram intake from AEM but it was made as a mod to a mid nineties civic. They said she could have had dryer hose connected to the intake and it would not matter. I found that funny but her car could not pass smog by 100 Nx. I guess it breathed too well.

Congrats. I know you felt awesome and a bit relieved when you finally drove it. Real dedication man. About how much time and money would you say that you spent on the swap. A friend of mine has a 86HF and the poor engine is shot. I have my HF engine and ECU from my 89 that i am thinking of giving him. He would need a D tranny and the engine needs a new head gasket cause it is leaky. I figure if it only costs him a few hundred to get this in, i can buy a gasket to give him and help him source a d trans. He is eco minded like me so nothing fancy.
